Welcome to the home of The Girls’ Ball Association!

The Girls’ Ball Association is a not-for-profit organisation established over 85 years ago as a means to integrate rural and city networks in the quest to raise valued funds for an elected charity. The Association consists of young ladies aged between 20 and 26 who host a Black Tie Ball on the eve of the Royal Ekka Holiday for over 850 young professionals across Queensland.

With the collective efforts of our guests and sponsors alike, The Girls’ Ball Association in 2015 raised $31,000 for our beneficiary Spinal Injuries Australia. This year, our goal is to support another unique Australian charity in their efforts to provide much needed support to its members.

In 2016, the Girls’ Ball association is proud to be supporting the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners - This charity provides invaluable assistance to Australian farmers in drought affected areas. With the collective efforts of our guests and sponsors alike, we are hoping to raise in excess of $30,000 for the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners at this year’s ball.

This year’s event will be hosted by The Landing at Dockside on Tuesday,9th August2016.We are also excited to announce the return to our old stomping ground – The Jubilee Hotel – for the official 2016 Girls’ Ball After Party.

Many thanks for your interest and support – it’s time to get excited!
